Mother's Day Trio

My Thursday Card Club group will be making the following items for Mother's Day:

Another trio for a second class project.  This time I used the Stampin' Up Crumb Cake as a base and  "free" Sale-A-Bration" paper pack Sweet Sorbet, I love, love, love this paper.  Super simple card and memo pad.  The tea box is a little more complicated, but well worth the patience it takes to cut all of the pieces out and put them together.  Stampin' Up Tea Time Trinkets and Antique Brads were used on the box.  Stampin' Up stamp sets: Tea Shoppe, Well Scripted and Peaceful Petals.  Oval punch, 1" circle punch, and Boho Flower Trio punches.  Rosette was cut out on the Cricut, but for the class I will be using a much simpler and prettier Martha Stewart Scalloped Three Dot border punch.

Uptown Girls - Night Out

Stamping Bella - Uptown Girls - Victoria and Juliette's Night Out

21st Birthday Card

Card base is Stampin' Up Cherry Cobbler, designer paper is by Adorne.  I stamped on Neenah Solar White and colored the lovely Uptown Girls with Copics using Stampin' Up Iridescent Ice on the red dress and shoes.  The Artisan Label punch was used to punch out the sentiments which were computer generated.  The inside of the card has a pocket at the bottom for "Taxi Fare" after a night out of celebrating.  A Happy Birthday to my beautiful granddaughter, Victoria.

My Mother's Day offerings for a class at The Creative Stamp

on May 3, 2014 from 1-3 PM

Three items any Mother would love to receive on Mother's Day.
A card, a tea box and a magnetic note pad.

We will be using other papers and stmaps for this project provided by the store, but for these samples I used Stampin' Up papers in Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Very Vanilla and designer papers from their Spice Cake collection.  I tea stained the Wilton cupcake doily.
Join us if you can and find out how to make Mom a homemade trio of Love this Mother's Day.

Easter Class April 12, 2014

Easter offering for class at The Creative Stamp

April 12, 2014 from 1-3 PM

Pop-Up Box Card folds flat to fit into a standard A2 envelope.
For this sample I used heavy 110# Recollections Ivory Card Stock.  (We will be using stamps provided by the store for this class.)  The designer paper is by Best Creations called Bunny Love and the bunny stamps are from Close To My Heart's stamp set "Sensational Season"  the bunnies were quite large so I stamped them then reduced their size on my copy machine, and colored with Copics.   The little eggs stamp in front is by Hampton Arts.  Butterflies and flowers were punched out of the designer paper and added to the box with strips of transparency sheet.  A little ribbon tied into a bow and a computer generated greeting with a Stampin' Up Modern Label background finish off the design.

Easter Egg Cards

Two Easter Egg cards to share today.  The first one  is a white egg card for a challenge.  We were to take the egg shaped card, chocolate bunnies, the butterflies and the grass and put together a card.  I chose to use the rickrack edge punch to cut out some trim pieces.  I also used my Spellbinders oval dies to cut out a window and frame, this was backed with packing tape and glitter was applied to the sticky part of the tape.  I punched out tiny flowers  and added liquid pearls to the centers.  The bunny is finished off with a little pearl eye.

The inside of the card was stamped with a greeting from Crafty Secrets Easter Joy stamp set.  The eggs, grass and flowers were stamped with a Hampton Art stamp in Staz-On black and colored with Stampin' Up markers.

This second card is actually the very first egg card that I made about two weeks ago.  This card was front was covered with Stampin' Up So Saffron card stock and Pool Party trim.  The little pink flower and leaves were made with my quilling tool and stylus.  The Sentiment is from Stampin' Up Everybunny stamp set.
The inside of this card features the one of the lovely little bunnies from the Stampin' Up Everybunny stamp set.  She was masked and then I stamped the same Hampton Art stamp for the eggs.  This time I used Momento Ink and colored with Copic and Pencils

Fun and cut cards to make.  Total overall size of the card is 4" wide and 5 1/2 tall.  Fits nicely into an A2 envelope.

Easter Pop Up Box Cards

Two Pop Up Box Easter Cards (4 1/4" x 5 1/2")made to fold and fit into a standard A2 card envelope.

The first card used stamps by Stampin' Up from the Everybunny stamp set, I also used a CraftSmart Easter basket stamp and a little chick by Penny Black all colored with Copics.  I punched out some of the butterflies  and flowers from the Best Creations Bunny Love designer paper with Stampin' Up punches.

My second card was made using 110# vanilla card stock by Recollections which makes the card more sturdy.  I used stamps from Close To My Heart - Sensational Season and Hampton Art, I punched out Butterflies and flowers from the Best Creations designer paper with Stampin' Up punches.

Paper Bag Birthday Card

This is a paper bag card made with a standard 5" x 11" lunch sack.  I trimmed the open edge off to make the bag 5" x 8 1/2".  The bottom of the bag was glued down on the edges to form a pocket for  the gift card, I also glued the gusset closed on both sides and made a tag for the pocket.
