Large Halloween Match Box Pop Up Treat Holders

This box is large enough to accommodate the pop up flying bats and some treats and a gift card or maybe even a little cash.  Super easy simple and fun to make.  Directions below the photographs.

How cute is this little Dracula Puppy Dog with the evil black kitty watching from above.  Too cute to spook!

With a big ol' bat inside to protect the goodies inside.

And we can't forget SPIDERS, YIKES!

No bats in here, just more spiders.

Not wanting to reinvent the wheel, so to say, I took apart a larger box of Diamond matches and used it as a template, you remember the kind of matches Grandma kept in the kitchen to light the wood burning stove so she could cook up something yummy.

Box:  Stampin' Up 80# basic black card stock cut at 5 1/4 x 7 1/4 scored at 1 3/8 on all four sides.
Covers:  Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells Collections and K&Co. Halloween Designer papers including flocked spiders cut at 4 1/2 x 9 and scored at 1 1/2, 3 1/4, 5 3/4 and 7 1/8.
Inside pop up section:  2 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 1/2, 1 1/2, 2 1/2, 3, 4 and 5.
Inside treat section: 2 1/2 x 3 1/4 with pop-ups or 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 for full coverage.

Wedding Wallet Mini Photo Album

Black and White Wedding Wallet Mini Photo Album.  Following the wonderful directions of Dawn Olchefske found here:
http://dostamping.typepad.com/dostamping_with_dawn/2011/08/stampinup-dawn-dostamping-celebrates-day-2-wedding-photo-wallet-mini-album-video.html

I put together this lovely little 4 1/2" x 9" wallet to hold a 4" x 7" four page, eight photo mini album.
Great shower gift.

I used Stampin' Up Whisper White and Basic Black card stock and embossed the Elements of Style stamp set.  Sentiment is from the Labeled Love set and die cuts are Spellbinder.  Black and White satin ribbon was used for the bows on the belly band and the tag was attached with a piece of white crochet thread.

2014 Scrapbook Expo Project (1)

The Rubber Cafe

While attending the 2014 Scrapbook Expo in Santa Clara, CA, I took a class from the very talented and fun, Melissa Forsyth of The Rubber Cafe.

You pull the ribbons on each side of the box, a tag rolls out on the left and a box on the right.  The box is pretty big at 3x5x1, plenty of room for a gift card and lots of chocolates.  The matching card is tri-fold and all three of the facing sections have pretty flowers.

Thanks Melissa, you are AWESOME!

Summer Silhouettes Thanks So Much

August order bags stamped with Stampin' Up Summer Silhouettes and Simply Sketched in Rich Razzleberry and More Mustard.  I masked each side and stamped in the middle then lightly rubbed More Mustard all over the stamped images.  Thanks to everyone who placed orders so far this month.

I found a card on Pinterest by Aileen Skene in the UK with this design and thought it was so pretty. Thanks Aileen for the inspiration.
