Sprinkles of Life - Three Scoops Please

Another card from Stampin' Up's new Sprinkles of Life.  This is not my design, but I thought that it was delightful.  I predict that this will be a very popular stamp set, especially because it benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities.  This set features ice cream, trees, clouds, flowers, a basket or cupcake, rain, and 8 sentiments.  22 stamps in all and so versatile.

Best Thoughts

Another new stamp set from Stampin' Up available June 2, 2015, "Best Thoughts", so lovely.

Colors used on this card are Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, and Perfect Plum.  Stickles were used to highlight the flowers.

From The Herd

I'm sure you have seen this card all over the internet, so much fun I had to make my version too!

These guys are so darn funny, I couldn't resist making this one to cheer up someone who really needs it.  The inside characters are a little dark but you get the idea.

Stampin' Up You've Got This

Watercolored flower from "You've Got This" stamp set.

Such a lovely flower and sentiment.  Colors used on this project are the new in colors available June 2, 2015.  Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder, and the Delightful Dijon.

Bohemian Feathers

Inspired by the beautiful colors in the new Stampin' Up Bohemian designer series papers, stamp set, washi tape and embossing folder.

Feathers were stamped in Delightful Dijon,  Island Indigo and Rich Razzleberry and cut out with the coordinating thinlits dies.

Sprinkles of Life

Finally we have a rainy day here in sunny California.  So this card is to celebrate the "wet" silver lining in those clouds.

For this card I used the Stampin' Up color combination Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay, Garden Green and Cucumber Crush and the new Sprinkles of Life stamp set and coordinating Tree Builder punch both available in the new Stampin' Up catalog on June 2, 2015.

The clouds were stamped in Versamark and embossed with silver embossing powder and the heat tool.  The rain drops were embossed in clear and both were colored with a white Prismacolor pencil.

The most exciting part is that I used the new Cherry On Top Cotton Paper Assortment for the leaves on the tree by punching out tiny Hydrangea flowers with the Martha Stewart punch in Cucumber Crush, and using my stylus to fold the leaves inward.

For the grass I tore pieces of Garden Green card stock leaving the edges exposed.

Loving this new stamp set which benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Stampin' Up Bohemian Meets A Happy Thing

I love the bold colors of this combination from the new Bohemian designer series paper by Stampin' Up, available in the new catalog on June 2, 2015.

Base is the new "In Color" Delightful Dijon" topped with a piece of Island Indigo with accent pieces of Crumb Cake.  The button embellishment and strip in the background were first stamped with the French Script wheel.  The hummingbird was colored with Stampin' Write markers and ink pads in Rich Razzleberry, Delightful Dijon and Tempting Turquoise.

Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin Layers Of Gratitude Kit Alternative

Using White Acrylic paint I swiped around the edges of the box with a sponge and paint, when it dried I covered it with a piece of the Painted Blooms dsp.  I stamped two butterflies onto Tangelo Twist and fussy cut them layering one onto the other and added Wink of Stella for some sparkle and shine.  The little flowers from Something to Say stamp set were stamped onto Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss, and punched out with the Itty Bitty Accents flower punch.  The flower centers are Daffodil Delight 1/8" hole punch circles.

An Ultra Thin Fastener Tab from Tombow was used to keep the box closed.

I cut 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" watercolor paper for all 16 panels of the long folded card from the kit.  Using Stampin' Up ink pads and markers I  applied a little color to my craft mat and spritzed with water, dipped the watercolor paper in the colors and let the panels dry.

This is the front of the card.  I love this long retired Serene Spring stamp set.
I chose a different stamp set for each panel, stamped in Staz-On black ink and watercolored each stamped panel.  I used the scoring board to emboss lines around each inside watercolor panel, wrote some words of inspiration on each panel and glued them to the long card with Tombow Mono Adhesive.
This is the last panel on the front of the card.

Here is one of the inside panels:
Thanks for looking, have a great day.

Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin Layers of Gratitude

I labored over what to do with these felt Tangerine Tango letters from the February 2015 Paper Pumpkin Kit for a long time.  Then part of the kit was issued as a challenge to my card club team members.

I was racking my brain on how to use them, when all of a sudden I realized that I needed thank you notes for all of this months SU orders, and Viola! an idea was born.

I started with a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 piece of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock and added Whisper White.  I used a leftover piece of dsp from the Simply Created Mini Album kit and trimmed it with a piece of Calypso Coral punched with the Scallop Trim border punch.  Added the felt Thanks letters and a pretty bow and DONE!

Sometimes it takes a challenge with a due date to get motivated to think outside the box and be creative.
